FROM KIBBLE TO FRESH🐕🐕🐕

HOW I TRANSITIONED 5 DOGS FROM KIBBLE TO A FRESH RAW WHOLE LIVING FOODS DIET🐕🐕🐕

As this #TRYFresh Campaign comes to a

close, its time to show you how we transitioned each dog for the month of January campaign. #TRYJanuary.

HOW WE DID IT:

Each transition plan was tailored to each dog, with guidance from myself to ensure success & that everything ran smoothly.

I will be sharing all 5 “FRESHERS” journeys, from how we transitioned each dog to how they are doing now & will be following up throughout the year!

The next #TRYFresh campaign will start in April 🙌🏻 #TRYApril🐾🐾

Poppy’s Picnic provided the food for this campaign.

CASE STUDY 2:

Lisa Gardener with TANGO

Here is Tango’s transition plan:

Chop and steam:

1/2 White cabbage

1/4 Red cabbage

2 x Courgette

1/2 x Yellow pepper

1/2 Apple (minus pips)

Add x 1 tbs walnut oil to the mixture.

Take out 1 tbs of kibble out add 1 x tbs of the veggie mixture. Build this up to x 3 tbs over 3 days.

SWITCH TO THIS MIXTURE

Now gently cook 150g of minced turkey & add to the next batch of veggie mix. Take out 2 tsb of kibble add 2 x tsb of the veggie/turkey mix & build up to 5 x spoons over 3 days.

Add 1.5 x capsule of Kiki Soil Based Organisms (probiotic) per day. https://kiki-health.com/product/body-biotics-30-caps/

Then we went straight onto raw, as we had protected the gut with a fantastic non diary probiotic, which will ensure the internal environment is receptive to a fresh raw diet & the cooked fresh foods beforehand would have fired up your dogs digestive system, to enable them to cope with moving onto processing a raw fresh diet with ease. The gastrointestinal system aka The Gut is is truly where robust & powerful health stems form.

NOTE: If you are transitioning using a complete & balanced pre made raw food & adding this to your kibble then the ratio is:

2 spoons 🥄 🥄 out (kibble) 1 🥄 in (raw fresh) reason being that the complete & balanced raw food is nutritionally superior compared to just adding mince or a spoonful of veggies.

I will be updating ‘what they are feeding now’ next week! Watch out for all 5 case studies!

Thank you ❤️❤️

With love
